Does the Intentions of Interveners Matter?

i was curious as to whether, you know, in your view, the sort of intentions matter, weni with regard to the interveners. I think my general view is that the intentions, are the motivations of interveners dot directly matter to whether or not an intervention is morally permissible. A, i think that their intentions and motivations can matter a lot if we're trying to asess their moral character,. but what they are actually doing is more importanc than ther internal mental states.
