By default, it appears that it hides the notch when you're using aps in full screen mod so i saw that in some of the screen shots. Am ofthe ani was confirmed by a different screen shots on the apple web side. When you use full screen round, it just puts up a black bar at the top of the screen, so it doesn't show the notch at all. But in normal usage, the notch is there, and it coexists with the manu bar.
