The History of the KKK Statute
Criminal civil rights history a law is not really my field and so this came as a little bit of a surprise to me honestly but we looked back at the enforcement history of this statute. It has a long history of being used to prosecute people who violate the right to vote in general by refusing to count votes accurately. So I think it's a fairly clean application honestly. Look anytime you're dealing with the president trying to overthrow the established constitutional order you know there's not usually an on-point statute for thatyou have to cram it into some more general statute.
