Waymo has published a paper on how to make driver monitoring more effective. The company says that it can be combined with other technologies such as body posture and eye movements in order to provide an accurate picture of the user's driving habits. Waymo is also looking at ways to prevent drunk driving, but there are still not enough educational components about this type of technology being used for consumer applications.
