The Netflix Effect

The network itself was always operating at a net loss for both those companies. But where they made all their money, and were talking billions of dollars, was in a foreign licensing. The c w could gain what theys called the netflix effect. They coud make a lot of money through it. And now we're kind of in this reverse senario where warner brother's discovery, paramount globel are saying, we have streaming services, and we want to go international. It's very, very important to us to have a footprint both domestically and internationally.
