Polyphenols in the Diet Myth
Eating five different vegetables per day can increase their polyphenolic content. The greater the color generally, not always, but generally there's more polyphenols. Microbes convert that polyphenol into a very useful chemical which can then do lots of things like help our immune systems and relax the vessel walls for your heart.
