Electricity Markets Are Failing All Over the World
The vast majority of electricity in france is coming from one company's nuclear fleet. The idea was you could have a competitive electricity market by inducing a bunch of traders and energy companies to buy up nuclear electricity, then sell it on to their customers. Ociins for cont like, the logic is inscrutable. It makes no sense. Even now, electricity markets are failing all over the world. But even by that standard, this never made sense.
