The January 6th Committee Referral to the Department of Justice
The January 6th committee made a referral to the Department of Justice and named certain statutes that they believed were violated by Donald Trump and others. The target letter, which we have not seen, but reportedly has reference to three statutes,. two of which were among the referral statutes in this case. There's a new statute that hasn't been much in the dialogue and discussion relating to Donald Trump: section 241.
