Peter Bergen: Moore's law is sort of saturating. As resources become more and more capable, they become more demanded. He says AGI could be hindered by lawyers who don't want to deal with the legal issues involved in developing a computer program that can do complex tasks for them. In medicine, he says, doctors are using computers instead of their patients' phones or old-fashioned radio transmitters because it's so much faster.

Brian Keating is a renowned astrophysicist, cosmologist, inventor, and author. He is a professor at the University of California, San Diego and director of the Arthur C. Clarke Center for the Human Imagination. Keating's groundbreaking research on cosmic microwave background radiation has earned him prestigious awards, and his book "Losing the Nobel Prize" has received critical acclaim.
