What Is It That's Confusioning About Unit Price?

In practice, I find those unit prices weirdly confusing and often just way massively weirdly inaccurate. And I don't think the supermarkets put a huge amount of effort into making sure that they're correct. We found a solution to the problem, but the solution turned out not to be nearly as good as we thought it would be.
