John: Jesus doesn't deny selfishness might not even be the right word, but he are kind of a natural tendency to self care. So much of the modern sort of popular culture on feelings world is so much focused on sort of obsessive self care. It's interesting because in the previous episode that we were talking about how Jesus helped the disciples to enter immediately into their world by asking questions. This one, he's almost saying, ask questions about what you would do or what you would want or what you need.
