In early 19 ixty, jones first staked out the havana hilton in search of a translator. He offered foster 24 dollars a day and promised to send him to the united states if he would help with the recruitment plan. The plan was to bring forty cuban black families to america to work on communal farms,. financed by his indiana congregation.
