How to Support H LTA's in Their Day-to-Day Work?
H LTA's are seen as one whole team, not separate teams of teachers and TAs. If you see that they're stressed ask them to chip in for a day or two. They will be far more likely to do so if it means covering sick children at the last minute. Make sure H LTA is aware of provision made for children in the room. It can ruin their day if they don't know how things work.
