Cyber Sex Crime in South Korea
In South Korea, cyber sex crime has been present since the late 1990s without a word to define it. The first nationwide feminist campaign, Meghalia, was launched in 2015 and exposed digital sexual violence for the first time. After the enthroom case, the complex web of online activity wasn't shut down. Year on year, there has been an increase in cyber sex crime - 8% more in 2021 than in 2020.
