The Battle for the Pacific: PNG and the United States
Papua New Guinea has signed a deal with the United States that gives it unimpeded access to six key ports and naval bases. China is not happy about this news out of PNG, but part of their anger is because Beijing had been trying to get this exact same kind of deal for its own military,. Plus, they're going to have to wait a while to try again. We'll also look at how Uganda's government wants to exploit an oil field after only Western countries and banks had pulled out.
