If mental entities have no spatial properties as Descartes says, then it follows that there cannot be a place in the brain where the soul interacts with the physical body. If one of the two principles only has properties in time, the mind unfolds in time, but no spatial properties. I realized that for all of us, there are some parts in my phenomenology, my robust sense of selfhood which are spatial,. My limb movements, my gut feelings, my visceral spatial perspective and everything. And other things are really not located in the body image.
