Did Scientology Attack Defectors Cause a Lightbulb Moment?

As a Scientologist, you knew that the organization actually was attacking defectors and doing some pretty nefarious and dark things to hurt people. But did you just sort of turn a blind eye to it? You thought, well, that's just acceptable because this is the truth. No, because you see that whole doctrine of fair game meant if somebody was against Scientology, you could do anything to them. So how did we categorize it? Just desserts. They got what they had coming to them.
