Every time i sit down with a blank page write another book, i'm like, how did i do that last one? And it feels daunting. My rough drafts are much rougher than my finished products. The first advice i would give someone about writing is to sit down and write every day. Don't try to polish that first page to perfection before you start on the second. That's not what the rough draft es all about. We have to realize that the books we love also existed as rough drafts.
