The History of Jazz in China

Beijinger: I've been in China a long time and used to think Beijing was the center of the Chinese universe. But much to my surprise when I arrived there, in fact there was a beginning, a jazz scene that was beginning to happen. "I thought to myself, this is amazing. Jazz has finally come to China," Beijinger says. 'But then I realized actually that's not quite right'
