In the UK, class is still one of the main social divided lines. I think we need to be more mindful of these differences and not just say that on the basis of the fact that they're both black, they necessarily share the same experiences. In many cases in the US, the main dividing line is raised, whereas in the UK it's class. So for example, I have a brother that lives in America and was recently married to a black American woman. And the wedding was lost December, and she invited over 70 guests to Nigeria for the wedding.
