Lorentz: The book is a mix of what if Harry Potter high school plus Narnia kind of stuff where like kids went to magic school, they were all like kind of lost outcast weirdos. And then the fact that they couldn't get back to that magical place really weighed on them and stuff. Lorentz: It does maintain even through some of the near future apocalypse stuff a sense of this, we can make this betterLike this can be saved and it is worth saving that runs through it.
