In what way does fiction allow you pancag to tell this story of india in a different way to non fiction? That's a very good question. Because, you know, i think i decided to go back to writing fiction after not having done it for 20 years because i felt that the non fiction i was doing wasn't able to capture a lot of the complexity of this transformation. O kno, say it could claim that, look, we've got a lot of prosperity, a lot of rich people in the country,. but they're a lot of poor people too, and there's a lot of inequality.
