The Second Amendment, the Right to Keep in Bear Arms

There are plain words here in the Constitution that we take often to mean things different than what the founders intended. The First Amendment guarantees freedom of the press; is the internet the press? Well, clearly the founders did not know of this thing, the internet. There's no one particular way of interpreting that the framers gave us. They just gave us the words on the page and you need to understand them thusly. You can't be a crackpot on either side of this equation, saying, "No, no, no, you're all wrong"
