Dopamine and Meditation

Sti Chenson: Two studies show that when people meditate, they get a moderate increase in dopomin. One of the co authors is lee brasington, author of right concentration and practical guide of the jianas. He says it seems like one of the systems that's developed reliable ways in buddhism to specifically go states of pleasure. The other study does o support the idea that during those pleasurable states, that reward systems are being stimulated. They do say that the actual response that they are getting from in this area is much lower than they would have expected.
