Lawson has opened a new 'green' version of their store in Tokyo. It's all about going green for the environment and using frozen bentos instead of chilled ones. Customers can pay by scanning a QR code to avoid paying with cash. 30 people are working from home via Zoom to operate the in-store avatar. They're being basically run puppet style from people at home.
