The Importance of Being Filipino
I was the only non-white person in my primary school. My mother never taught us a language, because she didn't want us to assimilate. So for her, that was not a thing that sort of, she goes to us as our Filipino identity. I'd like to say, yeah, I let it off my mom. She passed all these things down, so she did all of it, which is cool. She's giving me great food memories.
