Is There a Universal System of Numbers?
There's a hierarchy of universality. The next level above tallying is counting, which involves numerals. When tallying goats, one is merely thinking another, another, another,. Another, another. So I wonder how close computer languages are to fully being able to simulate the world. We just have to encode that in our brains and then execute the program just like a computer.
