The Role of Loneliness in Longevity

How does loneliness change across the lifespan? Non-linearly. We do find like higher scores of loneliness in young adults aged 18 to 29 and in older adults aged 80 plus years, for example. Some data suggests it kind of drops off at the end of very old age. What are the main robust findings that you can say more confidently? This is replicable and this is something that we can find in a lot of data sets about subjective ability.
