Deer With Antlers From the Early Dino Deer Family

White taild melder do not normally have upper canine teeth, but in rare cases we get a throwback from evolution. Back in the mioscene, the early dino deer, or the early primitive deer, generally had fangs andand some of the early ones just had fangs. But then as antlers developd and got more elaborate throughout deer evolution, those fangs got smaller and smaller. Now we still have over half of the forty species in the deer family that haveupper canine teeth.
