Mars in Cancer: Emotions and Exaggerations

In episode 464 astrologers Chris Brennan and Austin Coppock do an in-depth exploration of the astrology forecast for October 2024. We spend the first hour of the show talking about news stories since our last forecast, and then at 57 minutes we jump into the forecast for October. The major highlight of the month is the solar eclipse that happens in the signs of Libra on October 2, which is the last in a series of eclipses in that sign that began one year ago. The middle of the month features a lot of tense aspects between Mars and the inner planets, which the benefic planets Venus and Jupiter are attempting to offset with helpful configurations. By late in the month the Mars-Pluto opposition begins to loom large, and we start to get sense for what that tough aspect will look like over the next several months, since Mars will station retrograde and oppose Pluto three times.
