Is Chronic Stretching a Bad Thing?

Stretching isn't actually going to increase flexibility or mobility. I have no fockin idea where that idea started from. It contradicts an enormous amount of literature, and also just doesn't even pass the reality test. If you stretch, it's only a causing a short term neural effect. So it's acutely increasing stretch tolerance. You can get a few extra degrees of range ofmotion from that, and then, you know, 20 minutes later, your flexibility is back to where it was before.
