The Risk of Steroids in Sepsis and CHF
Risk differences when expressed in absolute terms are pretty small. But the huge sample size means that even small differences can become statistically significant relatively easily. As a clinician, we have to balance that against the benefits of steroids. And I wouldn't consider this study to be practice changing.
