I just can't understand how a sport, which supposedly has this working-class dimension to its culture, can charge people so much money to go and watch it. I think what you would find is different clubs at different levels, and at different areas of the country would potentially be at different price points anyway. Football is a shared experience. It's about storytelling, it's spending time with friends and family. So that 90 minutes is really a very small microcosm of what football is, which is a huge cultural asset. You know, economists divide assets, goods up into private goods and public goods. What kind of good or what kind of asset is a football club?
