Moses is addressing the children of the Exodus generation on the east side of the Jordan River as they are about to go into the land. But it won't be Moses who brings them in. It will be his protege, a man named Yahoshua in Hebrew which means Yahweh brings deliverance or salvation. So what Moses has been for the people now Joshua will be for the people. He's a new Moses and he's going to be portrayed as a new Moses when you turn to the next girl, Joshua. We're gonna dive in here at Deuteronomy 31 and think I'll just start reading and well point out cool stuff and it's awesome.
