Elder Christophosin used the Apostles Council or the Jerusalem Council as an example to try and help people understand how God governs his church today. He said that after quote unquote, much disputing Peter, the senior apostle rose up and declared what the Holy Spirit had confirmed to him. After Paul and Barnabas and perhaps others spoke in support of Peter's declaration,. James moved that the decision be implemented by letter to the church and the council was united with one accord.
