Paul wrote to the church in Rome with a list of giftings that Christ allows to flourish within a church body. If you lived in Corinth and you had this list, you might conclude from your list that pastors in a band should list our lower class citizens in the church. This is not the way we should treat these kinds of passages,. Let's go on and read the third list that was given. This is the sevenfold ministry. And so now if you live in Rome and you got a letter from Paul this week, this is what it would have said.
