Is Knowing the Time's Tables Enough?
As long as teachers and parents of school aged children are sort of encouraging that conceptual understanding, it's not necessarily a problem. I think the problem comes where children can just narrate the time's tables so they can just go 2468 but they can't do that more Attok. So if we're saying knowing can and they agree with you completely shun them, we can kind of, they need to be in tandem. It doesn't matter which came first or what order it happens in. But is knowing them, is being able to recite the multiples? Is that enough to say that they know them?"
