Veeam Backup and Replication for VMware
Veeam backup and replication seems to be the industry standard for anything involving vSphere but I never hear it being mentioned on two and a half admins. Is this due to a preference of KVM and so Veeam never really enters the picture or something else? Well Alan and I are both very experienced ZFS types and we are familiar with ZFS replication which is both free to use with no paywall and incredibly more efficient than Veeam. So it's a pretty hard sell trying to convince one of us, well you need to pay for VeeamSo you can do something sort of like our sink but a little bit better for large VM images but not a ton better
