Ep. 69 - Can the Doctrines of Simplicity and the Trinity Fit Together? w/Dr. Oliver Crisp

Parker's Pensées

CHAPTER

The Maximor Doctrine of Divine Simplicity

The maxim maximor doctrine of divine simplicity says that god's simple in a very strong sense. God has and is what he is, so he can't gain or lose parts. His attributes are not distinct from his self; they imply the divine nature. So thereis no real distinction in god between the divine attributes that he has and those attributes in his nature.
