The Evolution of Siamang Monogamy

A typical day in the life for a Siamang involves waking up, singing a duet with your spouse and swinging around. Another form of tactile communication this animal uses is grooming,. The adult male typically grooms the adult female and the offspring  and the female grooms the offspring. We humans also engage in more short term, less emotionally involved mating.
