The Economic Implications of Commodification of the Internet

I don't know if you saw this, but meta's llama model leaked. It's going to be exceedingly hard to keep these things closed. I also think they're concerned about the economic implications because it's going to hit their bottom line. My thing is, if good luck bottling this up,. Just like we thought about bottling like genetic research up once once it's out; that doesn't work. We only use Twitter because everybody fucking uses Twitter. We Only use Facebook as a social network because of how much money it makes.
