Introduction
What Do You Think You Are? is a two-part BBC World Service series. Show looks at the latest scientific research into the minds of animals from chimpanzees to birds, bees and cuttlefish. Jane Goodall found her research among the Tanzanian chimps being scoffed at by many of her fellow scientists in the 1960s. We'll be looking at how science has proved that so many animals with whom we share the planet are sentient beings. The answers came back well - you know too much about animal behaviour if you don't deal with its subjective aspects.
