How to Become a Novelist?

The traditional method is to write a novel, then work very hard to find an agent. That's about status and fear. The alternative is to write. Just write. Write your blog, write your dialogue, write your screen play. Give it away, share it, p it. Then do it again. Figure out how to stand up in front of a group of five people and tell a story.
