Yorkshire Puddings and the Irish Famine

Yorkshire Puddings are a source of guilt in Ireland. The carbohydrates on my Irish roast dinner are spuds they're pederos and when you eat a Sunday dinner which is it's a lavish celebratory dinner that you have on a Sunday, Yorkshire Puddings represent Ireland. I wanted to investigate this feeling within myself whyWhy was I in Duns embarrassed about going to someone who works there and says where are the Yorkshire Pudding? It's like I feel like I'm asking for condoms  I think part of it is simply the name Yorkshire Pudding isn't like all la de dah how fancy but just sounds really really English.
