The Effects of Globalization on the Human Race

The likelihood of one's life being ruled by decisions made in another jurisdiction detached from social solidarity and desensitized humanity is among the real effects of globalization. Globalization results in a power play between territorially fixed political factors, namely government, parliaments, unions and non-territorial economic actors. The fact that the world is increasingly enmeshed according to the German sociologist Ulrich Beck means that we live in an age of shared risks.
