Dolan's and Nesmith's Relationships With the Beatles
Nesmith and his wife Phyllis even stayed with Dolan's for a couple of days. Cynthia Lannon seems to have thought of the Nesmiths as annoying intruders who had been invited out of politeness and not realized they weren't wanted. After some initial awkwardness he developed a bond with Lannon, particularly once he saw that Lannon was a fan of Captain Beefheart.
