What's the Point of the Layoffs?
Matthew Bologna: Eiger delayed his retirement. He didn't want to leave. It was clear he never wanted to leave. Che Puck was his hand-picked successor, and it does appear that he figured out from the minute he made that pick, I made the wrong one. Matthew wrote last week that this was three or four days before the call where Eiger had been kind of talking publicly on the side but privately criticizing Chapeback.
