The Death of Henry Gean
In December 1945 Augusta Gean was dead. In his intense grief he secured the rooms that his mother had once used, shutting them off from the main part of the house. He also realized he didn't need as much land as he had so he sold off 80 acres of it. Ed continued to go into town and you know work for people and make some money but he did get a farm subsidy from the government in 1951.
