The Birth of a Queen of England
She was probably born around 1314, so right near the start of the century. It's crazy how often we just don't even know a Queen of England's date of birth. As is typical for lots of women in her position at that time, her marriage was a political deal. She wasn't happy with how she was being treated, so she ended up going to the French court. And initially it was meant to be a diplomatic mission to try and create peace between England and France.
