YBT mentions it all by sharing clinical observations of Monica and Nick, and deep diving into a problematic caller segment during the episode. I share the story of the caller (who has no contact with their parents and thus the reason for the advice call) and YBT challenges some of Nick’s uninformed statements on the matter. This leads to a discussion about the role intergenerational trauma plays in no contact with family.
